Prized for its daringly dark color and full-bodied flavor, black cocoa is a true luxury for chocolate lovers. Darken your desserts to your heart's desire. Intensify the taste of your cakes, cookies, and frostings.
Best used in tandem with other Dutch-process cocoas, substitute black cocoa 1:1 for other cocoas in your recipe. It can be paired with just a bit of black food coloring or gel to more easily achieve cakes, cookies, and frostings that are black as night. But a word of caution for cocoa connoisseurs: start by substituting sparingly—this is our darkest, deepest, most decadent cocoa.
